About us

Where care can still feel beautiful

Our mission

Redefining the experience of chronic illness

Nova Wearables is a wellness wearable brand redefining the experience of chronic illness through thoughtful design, comfort, and self-expression. Created for individuals living with PICC lines, chronic conditions, and invisible illnesses, Nova transforms everyday medical necessities into elevated wearables designed to restore confidence and individuality.

Founded by Emilie Delaye, Nova was born from lived experience and a desire to create products that help people feel seen, stylish, and empowered throughout their healing journey. As a chronic illness advocate and entrepreneur, Emilie recognized the gap between functionality and self-expression within traditional medical products and set out to build something different — a brand where care could still feel beautiful.

Working alongside Creative Director Annabelle Brame, Nova combines adaptive design, fashion innovation, and sustainability to create wearables that support both the physical and emotional realities of healing. Together, they are building more than a product line — they are creating a community-centered brand focused on visibility, confidence, and advocacy for those navigating chronic illness.

The story behind Nova

The dignity gap

For almost ten years, Emilie has lived with Lyme disease. The last two were the hardest — a port in her chest, then a PICC line in her arm, and a treatment schedule that didn't care that she was also trying to finish a master's degree.

The hard part was never the logistics. It was sitting in class with a stiff, white, unmistakably medical cover on her arm — feeling like the line was introducing her before she got the chance to introduce herself.

“She didn't need less medicine. She needed a cover that let her feel like herself while she took it.”

That's the gap Nova exists to close. Not the clinical gap — the medical devices already do their job. The dignity gap: the space between what treatment requires of your body and what it takes from your sense of self while you're in it.

What we stand for

More than a product line

01

Dignity by design

Adaptive wearables designed with the same intention as anything else you choose to put on your body — never an afterthought stitched on once function is solved.

02

Comfort first

Soft, breathable, hypoallergenic fabrics that hug without restriction, because treatment already asks enough of your body.

03

Community-centered

Built with and for people navigating chronic illness — focused on visibility, confidence, and advocacy.

04

Sustainably made

Fashion innovation and sustainability working together, so care for yourself never comes at a careless cost.
